Mini-Ooty is a growing tourist destination located in the Malappuram district of Kerala. There are two main ways to reach Mini-Ooty. Those coming from Malappuram Palakkad can reach Mini-Ooty via Aravakara (Pookottur) and those coming from Kozhikode Kondotty can reach Mini-Ooty from NH Colony near Kondotty.

Mini-Ooty is a hill station located around 500 feet above sea level, surrounded by lush green hills on all four sides. Mini-Ooty is a popular destination among bike riders as it is one of the most sought-after destinations in the state. There are two main centers in Mini-Ooty, one is Proper Mini-Ooty and the other is Cheripadimala. Cheripadimala is a good viewpoint of Calicut Airport. From Cherippadimala, we can see the flights coming and going at Calicut Airport. It is a must-see from Cherippadimala to see the illuminated airport in the evenings.
